018 / 365 - The Met Office had predicted that an active frontal system would move in from the west overnight and into today, bringing widespread snow across many parts of the UK. Working in the office in Thames Valley Park today we received word that the snow was getting very bad and that cars were having problems getting up the on ramp A3290, my route home.
Having left early it took me nearly 2 hours to reach home, with many roads closed, impassable or with diversions in place. I managed to take a quick photo near Heckfield along the way. The photo really doesn’t t do the snow any justice. In my defence I was concentrating on getting home, as safely as possible.
